新居にある飲食店「ZUCCA」の什器設計。ここでは築100年以上の解体される古民家の木製建具を回収し、その材料を丁寧に組み合わせてテーブルとベンチを設計した。溝や金具はそのままに建具の名残を残している。異なる経年変化をした木材は表情がランダムで、その特徴がより際立つよう雇いざねはぎで一枚の板を制作している。天板にはウレタンを塗布し木目を保存。形式は同じだが、ひとつひとつで異なる木材に愛着が持てるような設計を試みた。

Furniture design for a restaurant. We collected wooden fittings of houses which are over 100 years old that will be dismantled. We carefully combined them to design tables and benches. Leaving the grooves and metal fittings as a remnant of the fittings. These woods have different surface, we created them to one board so that their characteristics stand out. Apply urethane to the boards to save the woods. Although the format is same, we made it possible to have attachment to different surfaces.
